'Twas the day of the Sneak Peek and all through the mall; not a creature was stirring; not even a pig. What started off as a quiet day, soon turned into the usual Sneak Peek madhouse of players hoping like hell to get the bunny in a Sneak Peek pack. Some were rewarded. Many left with no bunny.

Before I begin the tournament report, let me take a moment to discuss the attributes of the pig. The curves of a pig are some of the most beautiful found in nature. The pig makes amazing oinking and grunting sounds that are pleasing to the human ear especially when compared with the constant high-pitched squealing of the little s***s in Kidzone. Pigs are exceptionally intelligent. Pigs can eat a lot of slop. I have nothing bad to say about pigs

Please remember how wonderful pigs are.
By popular demand, once again, yours truly brings you a Yu-gi-oh Tournament Report. I know there are many of you out there who find these reports to be the highlight of your entire week and many of you become more or less non functioning blobs until you read these reports, so I make every effort to give you an entertaining and yet concise weekly report--relatively concise given the length of this sentence.
October is here and though the thoughts of many turn to carving pumpkins into grotesque, leering monstrosities, others are playing Yu-gi-oh at noon on Saturday at Game Den. Now more details regarding the Better Than Regionals (BTR) tournament to be held at Game Den in WVC on Saturday, October 29th at noon. As previously stated, each person who enters the BTR tournament will receive 6 packs. These packs will likely be in the form of 2 Generation Force Special Editions--each special edition having 2 packs and even The Mathematician, Jordan V. can tell you 2 x 3 is 6. Also, on the day of the BTR tourament, Game Den in WVC will be having many super sales on popular Yu-gi-oh products such as Special Editions, Structure Decks, Gold Series 4, and Player's Choice sleeves. This will indeed be much better than Regionals. Another post giving all the details for the BTR tournament will appear on Gameden.com this week.
On Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. Game Den in West Valley City will be having "Weird Wednesday" MTG events. Every Wednesday night the format will change. Last week was a "pick your poison" draft where players chose any 3 packs and drafted.
This tournament was an M12 two-headed giant sealed event. Six teams battled it. Many of the teams were experienced MTG players, however the winning team was comprised of two young guns wearing dress shirts and ties, Clark H and Spencer B. won the tournament. I believe it was their first time ever playing two-headed giant. Next Wednesday night, September 21, Weird Wednesday format will be a Rise of Eldrazi draft.
Once upon a time a lil girl named Hacky June went on a picnic and played Yu-gi-oh. But that's a story for another day.
Today's story involves duels by gallant knights of Yu-gi-oh at Game Den in West Valley City. After much figurative bloodshed, the following 8 emerged victorious:
1. Joey "Noodle" C. - TG Agents
2. DJ "The Hawaiian Chicken Leg" K - Gravekeepers
3. Doug "No tell winner" S. - Destiny Heroes

5. Kevin "Big Brother" G. - Blackwings
6. Leo "Feely Fingers" N. - Battery Man
7. Arman "Grabby Hands" F. - Agents
8. Bright "Five Dolla!" L. - Dragunity
Is it a coincidence that "Feely Fingers" and "Grabby Hands" are friends? You be the judge.
In the Quarterfinals, "Five Dolla!" upset "Noodle," "The Hawaiian Chicken Leg" defeated "Grabby Hands," "No tell winner" won "Feely Fingers," and "Big Brother" overcame "Nascar."
In the Semifinals, "The Hawaiian Chicken Leg" won "No tell winner," and "Five Dolla! defeated "Big Brother." In the finals,"Five dolla! as the 8th seed won the tournament by gnawing "The Hawaiian Chicken Leg"
